Pressbook Privacy Policy

Pressbook is built around a single principle: your photos never leave your device. There is no server-side photo storage, no cloud sync of image data, and no third-party photo processing.

What we collect

• Nothing about your photos. All Vision-framework analysis runs on the Neural Engine on your iPhone or iPad.
• Anonymous product analytics (opt-in, off by default) via PostHog hosted in the EU, used only to understand which templates and flows are working. No names or contact details, no images, no content; only a random install ID you can reset or delete.
• Optional sticker search (opt-in, off by default): the Discover tab sends only your search word to Klipy. Photos never leave the device.
• Optional print waitlist: joining shares only the email address you enter with Buttondown, our newsletter service.
• Crash reports via Apple's built-in framework if you have opted in at the OS level.

What we do not collect

• Account credentials — there is no Pressbook account.
• Photos, image previews, or thumbnails.
• Contacts, location, microphone, calendar, or health data.
• Third-party ad-network identifiers (IDFA).

Subscription purchases are handled by Apple. We receive only a receipt token to validate purchases. Email is collected only if you contact support at hello@sideswipelabs.com.
