Someone sent you a Memory Capsule.

A Memory Capsule is a photo album sealed until a date the sender chose, made in Pressbook. It reaches you through their iCloud and opens on your iPhone or iPad.

Three steps

1. Get Pressbook on your iPhone or iPad. Download it free on the App Store.
2. Sign in to iCloud. On most devices you already are.
3. Open the invitation from Messages or Mail. The capsule appears under Shared with me.

Capsules travel through the sender's iCloud, not our servers. We never see them.

Requires iOS 18 or later.
